A follower of Jesus by birth and admirer of Shiva by heart, this client wanted to choose an artwork of Lord Shiva tattoos, to dedicate his love for these entities that rule two different sects of the country. But ultimately, no matter how many religions or God we create, it all comes down to one thing: Faith
One always thinks of travelling and that too only to an exotic location… Sometimes the place nearest to us are more beautiful than we know it … To travel does not mean to fly off only but just know where the roads lead & enjoy the journey. The tattoo is to remind me & continue in spring me to just pick a road & go out and all mountains, seas and direction can be reached.
Skull Tattoos are strongly associated with death & human mortality, Just another grim reminder that one day our time will be up. The snake coiled around the skull is an intense image of death at the hands of a threatening creature. Our marine wanted a piece with a strong meaning. Nevertheless, Elsewhere in the world, a is a symbol of healing & rebirth.
The client, an avid traveller, wanted to remember his journey from a tourist to a traveller. From preparing to wandering. So we did a brainstorming, which led me to draw a sketch of his ideas on paper and then transfer it into ink on his skin. This is a tribute to all the walks taken in the starry night, among the mountains, with the sky as the ultimate guide.
