The client wanted to cover up an old tattoo and what’s better than a Shinigami? Shinigami, considered as Gods of Death in Japanese lore, are fallen angels known to be present at or even lure people to, death. If you’re a Death Note fan, you might even know one – the notorious Ryuk.

Cover-up and extension of our happy client. We started with the idea of covering up with the lion but while we went with the flow the whole idea fell in a trippy place just the way we like it, so when we can’t cover up the whole thing we extend it to look like one piece and I wish I could have shown u the clients happy face.
Client had a dark brown scar which he wanted to cover up. We smoothly crafted the design as he is a sailor, which is this beautiful mandala with a compass in the middle and trishul coming out of it.
