This is one of the common Maori design depicting The sun and moon. Maori Tattoo or Moko is a form of body art practiced by Maori people in New Zealand. The art form is considered highly sacred as each Each moko contains ancestral tribal messages specific to the wearer. Sun is usually seen as a masculine symbol with both majestic and divine powers. The client wanted something masculine to be done on the back. Therefore we chose this design for him.
