Pain is subjectiveee. It is difficult to compare or measure the pain as such. Depends on your pain threshold. Plus you cannot judge unless you get inked.
Tattoos will certainly not look that dark as it was on the first day. Reason being, tattoo ink goes down to a few layers on your skin. While you are on your healing period, skin peels from the epidermis layer (i.e. top layer of the skin). After it is fully healed, the tattoo settles in your dermis (i.e. the second layer of the skin). So, your tattoo will look 10-15% lighter than it was on the day of the tattoo.
As your immune system so you will feel low on energy, exhausted. Also, you might feel dizzy, so it is not recommended to get inked when you are sick.
Tattoo peels off in 15-20 days but it takes around one month to heal a new tattoo completely.
Once the tattoo procedure is done, your tattoo will be wrapped with the cling film & then you have to take off that wrap within 45 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR.After taking off the wrap, you will have to CLEAN it with normal/ room temperature water & then just PAT DRY with tissue paper. Then apply THIN layer of ointment given by your tattoo artist, 3 hours post the cleaning. From the next day, you’ll have to clean it TWICE a day with a mild soap such as pears or dove foam & apply the ointment which artist has advised you. Continue this for the next 15 to 20 DAYS.. NEVER use Alcohol or Vaseline Jelly. Try to do everything softly & in a gentle pressure. Make sure you DON’T damage your tattoo. After 3 to 6 DAYS of the tattoo, there will be DEAD SKIN coming off, Kindly do NOT PLUCK that dead skin, let it fall off on its own. There might be an ITCHING sensation which is a very normal thing & should NOT be scratched. However, to get rid of it you can gently TAP on such itchy areas. Wear LOOSE CLOTHES (for instance, if you get a shoulder tattoo, make sure that your shirt doesn’t scrub it). Do NOT swim, soak in the hot tub or gym for the next 20-30 DAYS. CHEMICALS like chlorine and bacteria are found in most places which will cause the tattoo to FADE and/or can get INFECTED. In case of any body heat, do NOT burst the boils or touch and try to consume WATER -stay HYDRATED as much as possible. Consumption of watermelon/ coconut water is RECOMMENDED. AVOID consuming alcohol or smoking for at least 2-3 WEEKS. In case of any infection, send the pictures of the concerned TATTOO AREA to the Manager.
You should obviously get a custom tattoo instead of taking images from google. Your tattoo holds so many values, stories, emotions. You gotta see your tattoo for a lifetime and should remember the story behind the tattoo, not a picture you took from google just because it was trending, RIGHT?
Diabetes with 200+ blood sugar levels should not get the tattoo done. Below 200 blood sugar levels, we recommend to consult your doctor first. People who have any skin related issues, should consult their dermat and then get inked at your own risk.
It is not recommended to get finger tattoos done as our skin fingers are much thinner than overall skin, it is difficult to evenly/ consistently ink in fingers. As a result, it fades and gets blurred over time.
Yes, we use new needles, all needles and equipment needed for tattoos are sterilized.
You don’t really need a tetanus injection after a tattoo. If you feel like taking a tetanus shot for a safer side, you can.
